Union City Indiana City Council

The Common Council or City Council is a body established under Indiana Law. The Council consists
of five members elected by the citizens of Union City. The City Council's purpose is to adopt laws (ordinances) and
appropriate monies for the operation of the city and perform all legislative functions of the city. The City Council
meets in the Union City Community Room, located at 103 N. Columbia St. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.
