The Board of Public Works and Safety is a three member board appointed by the Mayor. This Board is the Chief Administrative body of the city, and has control of the day to day operations of the Police, Fire, Street, and Wastewater departments. The board meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, and these meetings take place at the Union City Community Room at 103 N. Columbia St.
